Today we talked about fitness testing!
We also firmed up the schedule for our fitness unit! Next week we will have work periods where you can get together with your group and get all your tasks done. You must have any work that needs to be duplicated for the class handed in to me (email or hard copy) on May 1st!!! Also, any special facility or equipment request need to be communicated with me before May 1st as well! Presentations and fitness testing begins in class on May 5th (BRING YOUR GYM STRIP!!!) Here is the list of who is presenting and when: May 5th: Flexibility May 7th: Muscular POWER May 11th: Agility May 13th: Body Composition May 15th: Muscular Endurance May 19th: Muscular Strength May 21st: Cardiovascular Endurance Good stuff guys!!!

Next class we will move on to our fitness unit!!! Today was our injuries test!!
Next class we are learning about taping injuries, and we will practice taping techniques. Please make sure your wrist and ankle can be accessed in class because we will be practicing on each other! Have a good weekend!!!
Today we finished our injuries presentations. If your group hasn't gone yet please see Ms Wood to set up a time to present.
I handed out two injuries review sheets, which I will post the answers to tomorrow. We also spent time in class preparing for our Injuries test NEXT CLASS....if you weren't in class you should see me to discuss your cheat sheet options. Make sure you review!! Today we had an athletic therapist come in and speak to us about sports injuries!
Next class you need to be ready to present if you did not hand in your injuries projects on time last day. Your CAP U reflections are also due next class as well. Have a good long weekend! |
